Who Is Micah Jesse?

MICAH JESSE was born in Atlanta, GA but currently resides in New York. He is passionate about New York City and all that the city has to offer from entertainment, nightlife, fashion, events, to music, etc. He is currently studying Public Relations at Hofstra University on Long Island, and is set to graduate in May of 2009. He is minoring in the Hebrew language.

During the summer of 2006, Micah scored an internship with music mogul Tommy Mottola (who headed Sony Music Entertainment for nearly 15 years) at his record company Casablanca Records. Mottola has worked with everyone from Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Diana Ross and Hall & Oates. While at The Mottola Company, Micah’s responsibilities included general research, facilitating meetings, photo copying, compiling and managing the guest list for NextSelection recording artist Cassie’s record release party, organizing and maintaining Thalia’s showroom, and assisting Thalia on-site at photo shoots. He also spent time as the front desk receptionist.

Since then, Micah has also been integral in planning high-profile events for some of the most exclusive events in New York City, and helped with the New Years Eve 2007 event at The Shore Club in South Beach, Miami with a performance by recording artist Eve.
