Memorial Day Weekend Madness - Saturday Edition

WOW!!!!!!!!

We haven’t updated in about 3 days and it feels like forever!

We have to explain to you that we had planned on keeping you up-to-date throughout our Memorial Day Weekend in the Hamptons, but we could not find internet access anywhere!

So we’re going to have to do our best to catch you up on all that occurred while out on Eastern Long Island.

During the day, the chef from Tao in New York City (with two assistants) came to the private house of Mike Zandman and Parry Lee to cook us a BBQ lunch that was to die for!

Saturday night we attended the grand opening of a boutique store called Bellhaus in Wainscott, NY. The event was hosted by the lovely Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos.

The store was absolutely gorgeous and so were the wait staff who were serving glasses of Moet champagne.

We can’t believe it happened (still, and it’s been a few days…) but yes! We met Kelly Ripa, talked with her about her 4th of July plans, her kiddos, her clothing, her favorite Hollywood beauty icon, what she loves about the Hamptons etc. And she graciously took a picture with your favorite blogger:

She said her dress was made by a designer named Petru.

When we asked her about why she loves the Hamptons she said:

“I love that my friend Andy Cohen lives here…I know famous people like Andy. I love the colors of the sunsets more than anything, I love to look at the horses running in the grass, I love fancy parties – glitzy. I love that people will loan me a very fancy dress.”

She was such a doll - so sweet, candid and perky.

That’s shoe designer Courtney Crawford with Kelly Ripa who is holding one of his shoes that was on desplay at the store. She tried on a few pairs and loved them!

As we were heading out we ran into our buddy Willem DeVries from TMZ:

When we left the Bellhaus opening, we headed to the owner of Tenjune’s Hamptons mansion they call The Estate, for Molly Sim’s birthday hosted by French Connection:

We met up with our homegirl and winner of America’s Next Top Model, Jaslene Gonzalez, at The Estate:

Then we headed to La Playa for the after party:

Thats designer Matt Levine (wearing his clothing line, Steelo) and the gorgeous (*ahem* flawless) Jaslene Gonzalez.

Joel Madden (hubby of the lovely Nicole Richie) was on the turntables and was making the crowd go wild:
